   • protect a network or system from unauthorized users
     • if we don't have firewall we can get fake stuff on our computer

2. anti-malware

   • it stops malicious programming on an individual computing devices and it systems
     • if we didn't have anti-malware people would access our information

3. passwords

   • secures your data from fraud
     • if we don't have passwords people can access our information

4. encryption

   • converting data or information into a code
     • if we didn't have encryption people can find out your password and other stuff

5. physical security

   • is physically securing something so putting a lock on it
     • if we didn't have locks people can take our stuff

6. server

   • is used to share files,programs and can also manage the security and logins of the network

7. local area network

   • are computers that are linked together in a small area

8. user access levels

   • different users have different privileges
     • if we didn't have user access levels people can access our stuff

9. wide area network

   • are computers that are linked together in a larger space
