fractions
- common denominators
- In a fraction when both bottom numbers are different you have to take the bottom numbers and see which one fits into both of the numerator numbers(the top number is the numerator) that will become you common denominator so the fraction will be=?/the common denominator
- So if I had 2/3 + 2/9 both of the denominators are different so what numbers go into 2 = 9 so the common denominator will be 9 so if you have ''X'' the bottom you have to ''X'' the top
- In a fraction when both bottom numbers are different you have to take the bottom numbers and see which one fits into both of the numerator numbers(the top number is the numerator) that will become you common denominator so the fraction will be=?/the common denominator
