1. An output device is used to display or use infomation that comes out of a computer system

   • Examples of output devices are headphones,pinters and speakers.
     • There are 3 types of printers: Inkjet for family ue or home office, they are cheap to buy but image quality arent always good
       • Lasers: for bussiness use and images,they are more expensive to buy than inkets but they have good quality and are quick and quiet
       • Doc martix: for bussiness use for duplicate or triplicate documents, can make carbon copies and print out continiously, its poor quality and prints in only black ink
     • Actactuator: A device that performs a mechanical actions or controls another device

2. An input device is something that captures data and sends it into the computer system

   • They convert physical movement such a key pressing or environmental data such a temperature, sound or light into electrical singals
     • Input devices are; barcode scanners,webcam,mouse
   • Scanners convert printed images or text into a file of digital data, cheap scanners are goood quality but can use a lot of memory
   • A sensor converts a physical quantity into an electrical signal
