   • Limited government involvement in economy, less involvement for welfare spending
2. Social Liberalism

   Nota:

   • Government involved socially to protect everyone's social rights, whether they're moral or not.

• Combination of economic liberalism and social conservatism SCEL, scale the population, social ladder???  Want government to economically help the unfortunate and uphold moral values

   Nota:

   • Progressives! New Deal, Great Society. Want government to help others in need (economically) by raising taxes on wealthy and regulating resources. 
2. Social Conservatism

   Nota:

   • Want government to protect the people by upholding moral values (either religion based or it-doesn't-harm-anyone idea)
