Handling Data in Algorithms
- Variables are memory location in computer's memory to store data. To indicate the memory location, each variable should be given a unique name.
- Constants are the terms that can't be changed during the execution of a program.

Data types
- INTEGER: a whole number - it has no decimal or fractional parts. Integers can be either positive or negative.
- REAL: Any number that you could place on a number line is a real number. Real numbers include whole numbers (integers) and numbers with decimal/fractional parts. Real numbers can be positive or negative.
- BOOLEAN: Boolean data is sometimes called 'logical' data (or in some software, 'yes/no' data). Boolean data can only have two values: TRUE or FALSE

Errors
- SYNTAX: This error occurs when a grammatical rule of a computer language is broken. Examples of such would be misspeling or missing out characters.
- LOGIC: This error occurs when the code doesn't run the way it was intended because of the way it is written. These errors can be blatant, or subtle and extremely difficult to spot.
