CHAPTER 4.1.1 : Steps to deploy a Web Application

1. STEP 1 : Arrange the resources

2. STEP 2 : Writethe Web Application deployment decriptor (web.xml)

3. STEP 3 : Create the WebLogic-Specific Deployment Descriptor (weblogic.xml)

4. STEP 4 : Archieve the files in the above directory structure into a .war file .

5. STEP 5 : Deploy the Web Application on WebLogic Server

   • Using the Administration Console
   • Copying the Web Application into the application directory.

6. STEP 6 : Assign deployment attributes for your Web Application
