RAM
- Meaning: Random Access memory
- This will determine how many files or applications you can have open at once.
- if you get a RAM with better memory you can aces more programs/files on your PC at once
- This clears everytime you shut down, restart or close the programs/files
Cores
- A core/CPU is sometimes called the brain of a computer. This is where everything on the computer is processed as you would expect from the central processing unit
- Without a core/CPU the computer could not run as nothing can be processed
Clock Speed
- Clock speed is the rate that a processor can complete a processing cycle.Measured in GHz
- Your clock speed is also determined by your CPU and how fast it can process tasks
Cache
- This is a small area of memory where frequently accessed files/programs so you can access them quicker
- If you clear your cache it will free up the space in it but it will take longer to access frequently visited places
