1. CPU: Processes information

   • Permanent storage
   • Non volatile
   • Boot strap program which allows the system to start up properly.

6. Power supply: Supplies power to the components.

7. Fan: cools the components that may get hot.

8. Optical Drive: Reads and writes data stored on compact discs.

9. Floppy Drive: Reads and writes information from Floppy Disks.

10. Hard Drive: Reads and writes data onto metal platters.
