     • Recognise user's goals and offer assistance

       • uncluttered appearance

       • Large working area
       • Other peripherals
       • Be customisable
   • User Expertise
     • Provide shortcuts for experts
       • Often type at high speed and can memorise commands
     • Increase number of ways for same operation
       • The user can choose how to do it
       • Novice users prefer mouse clicks, experts use keyboard shortcuts
   • Navigational Structure
     • Complex tasks should have easy guides (e.g. Office's Wizard)
     • Buttons should be in the same place
     • User should never be left wondering what to do
   • Use by Disabled
     • Sensory Impairment
       • Easy-to-read font
       • Large enough font
     • Blind
       • Talking computer
       • Braille keyboards and printers
