1. Cache

   • Cache memory is more quick than RAM
   • Cache memory is used to temporarilly holddata and instructions
   • This allows data or instructions to be fetched faster than traveling all the way to the RAM
   • More expensive than RAM and RAM is quite expensive
   • Cache Memory is very small as it is so expensive

2. Clock Speed

   • They are measured in hetz
   • 1KHz is 1000 cycles per second
   • Slow Clock speed less opened/installed
   • 1GHz is 1 billion cycles per second

3. Cores

   • The number of independent processors on the CPU
   • The fetch decode execute cycle simultaneously
   • Quad core: 4 independent processors
   • Dual core: 2 independent processors

4. RAM

   • The RAM is a storage for Programs,files etc.
   • RAM is short for Random Access Memory
   • When RAM is full virtual memory comes into play
   • When you turn your device off the RAM closes the open apps
