1. Who are you?

   • i am a sixteenyear old girl
   • i attend a private school in london
   • i live in a large house with my mother, step-father and step-brother.
   • my birthfather died due to suicide 5 years prior after he found out about my mothers affair with my step-father

2. what are you doing/

   • I am running away because i get abused by my step-father and my mother
   • my step-brother also gets abused and mistreated
   • i am leaving my step brother behind because that is what he has asked me to do
   • I have just got home from school and are packing three necessities to take with me
   • i am going to stay at my birth father's brother's for the time being as he has no connection with my mother

3. How are you feeling?

   • i am feeling confused
   • a wave of reality is hitting me as i am packing my bag
   • i also feel comfort, however, as i am realizing how free i will be
   • i i am also feeling lonely and distant from my older step-brother as he has decided to stay and put up with the child violence
   • i am reluctant to leave my step-brother behind because one can only put up with thiis for so long

4. what happened before?

   • i had been at school all day, and we were learning about child abuse in PSHE which reminded me of what happened at home this morning
     • my mother woke me up by scalding me with hot water and hitting me on my chest
     • this really tipped me over the edge

5. where am you?

   • i am in my childhood bedroom packing a bag and getting changed into a black hoodie and grey joggers
   • i decided to take with me, my passport,, my money and a ring of which my birth father had given to me from my eleventh birthday just before he passed
   • this is before my step-brother walks in pleading me not to go forth with this plan
