1. Fishes

   • • Body of the fish is covered in scales
     • They have fins
     • Breathe using gills
     • External fertilization

2. Reptiles

   • • Female lays soft-shelled eggs
     • Body is covered in hard scales
     • Live on land
     • They breath using lungs
     • Internal fertilization

3. Amphibians

   • • Skin is very thin and must always be kept wet
     • The do have lungs
     • Fertilization of the eggs is external
     • The eggs are covered with jelly to protect them
     • The larvae are aquatic
     • Adult amphibians live on land

4. Birds

   • • Bodies covered with feathers
     • Do not have teeth but use their beaks to eat their food
     • Front limbs are adapted as wings
     • Breathe using lungs
     • Fertilization is internal and the females lay eggs
     • Incubate their eggs until the eggs hatch

5. Mammals

   • • Body covering of either hair or fur
     • Breathe using lungs
     • Fertilization is internal
     • Females feed their young with milk
     • Viviparous
       • Offspring are kept inside the female's body and feed through a placenta.
     • Largest mammal
       • Blue whale
         • 33,6 metres , 190 tonnes
     • Smallest mammal
       • bumble bee bat.
         • 2 grammes and a wingspan of 16 cm
