1. SOME

   • It's used in affirmative sentences
     • There are some letters for you
     • There is some sugar in the pot
   • It's sometimes used in questions, when something is offered
     • Do you want some apples?
     • Can I give you some advice?
   • It's sometimes used when When an affirmative answer is almost certainly expected.
     • Can I have some biscuits?

2. ANY

   • It's used in negative and interrogative sentences
     • We haven´t got any shirts in your size.
     • There aren´t any bottles of milk in the fridge.
     • Have you got any shirts in my size?
     • Are the any bottles of milk in the refrigerator?
   • It's used when
     • Conditional sentences with the meaning of "alguien, algo, alguna cosa"
       • If anyone ask for me, please tell them I will be back soon
       • If I had any money I would buy a new car
     • Affirmative sentences with the meaning of "cualquiera"
       • Any kid would have behaved like that
       • You can pick any of these books
