System architecture

1. Fetch-decode execute cycle

   • The CPU operates using this cycle. fetch helps the instruction and data to be fetched. the decode decodes the instruction, the execute executes the instruction. then the process is repeated

2. Data stored in RAM

   • Operating system, Program instructions

3. CPU

   • It comes out processing on the computer. it does the fetch, decode and execute cycle

4. MAR

   • Memory Address register os used to hold the memory address of the current instruction being used

5. embedded systems

   • a computer system which is built into another device

6. USES OF ROM

   • it stores BIOS, bootup instructions

7. Virtual memory

   • virtual memory is a reserved/allocated area of disk. when RAM becoms full of programs and or data, instructions it is turned to virtual memory
