- Developed the "mental age" concept
- (Mental age/ actual age) x 100 = IQ
- developed first intelligence test
The Wechsler Test
- most commonly used IQ test
- Test for Children (WISC)
- Test for Adults (WAIS)
- Produced four component subscores
- Took away verbal aspects to make it less racial
