1. 1842-1843 first computer program was created by Ada Lovelace
  1. In the 1950s the first three modern programming languages whose descendants are still in widespread use today were designed: FORTRAN, COBOL, LISP
    1. C, one of the first systems programming language was developed by Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson at Bell Labs between 1969 and 1973.
      1. In 1990 new languages emerged.
