1. Spreadsheets

   • Formula
     • A formula is an expression which calculates the value of a cell. =(A1+A5)
   • Min
     • Out of a list of numbers it is the smallest one. =MIN(E1:E6)
   • Max
     • Opposite to Min.The highest number in a list. =MAX(E1:E6)
   • Conditional Formatting
     • A tool that allows you to apply formats to a cell or range of cells.
   • Countif
     • Used for counting cells within a specified range that meet a certain criterion, or condition. For example, you can write a COUNTIF formula to find out how many cells in your worksheet contain a number greater than or less than the number you specify.
   • Counta
     • Counts the number of cells that are not empty in a range. =COUNTA(A1:A8)
   • SUM function
     • When you add up a list of numbers all together. =SUM(E1:E6)
   • Average
     • Most common number you will find in a list. =AVERAGE(E1:E6)
   • IF statement
     • IF you can,for example, afford something or not. =IF(191+131>600),''I can afford'',''I can't afford''.
   • Count
     • Counts the number of cells that contain numbers. =COUNT(E1:E8)

2. Input.Output.Storage.Processing

   • Input
     • A device that when you click on something it carries that information into it.
   • Output
     • A device that sends data out of one computer and goes to another.
   • Storage
     • A device that can hold data for a long time.It can hold images and writing as well.
   • Processing
     • A processing device is responsible for controlling storage and data.

3. Scratch

   • Stage
     • The whole scratch screen.
   • Costume
     • What the character(s) are wearing or what they generally look like.
   • Script
     • This shows all of the data(moves)that your character(s) will do.It's shown a bit like a puzzle,one action linked underneath the other.
   • Background
     • The stage is where the character(s) will perform.
