1. What does encryption do?

   • Encryption is a code that you can create using a cypher to help keep your personal information secure when you send say an email with your bank details on. It scrambles up your data when it is on a message. It makes you information more secure by scrambling up all the other letters.

2. When do we use encryption?

   • We use encryption when we are sending important emails or messages with personal or private information on it thatshould only be kept between the sender and the reciever. If a hacker gets to this message and it is encrypted they will not know what itsays or mean so they cannot do anything with your encrypted personal or private information. We use encryption to protect or data.

3. How do you decrypt a message?

   • You decrypt a message by trying to break the code. You can do this by moving the alphabet a certain amount of spaces left or right. Then you can ,with a bit of a a struggle work out what your encrypted message says. You can also decrypt a message by using a key for the cypher.

4. How do you encrypt a message?

   • You encrypt a message by creating a code for the alphabet. You can move one letter to the right so the A is B and B is C and so on. Then you can use this code to write a message or an email with personal information on it. We create this code by using a cypher.

5. Firewall

   • Firewall stops virus' form getting full into your computer. The virus can get to a certain point and then it will stop it form getting any further. It stops hackers form getting into your PC and changing things/ getting to your personal data.

6. Anti-Virus Software.

   • It blocks out all virus' and stops them form coming into the computers in the first place. It stops them from invading all of your data on your computer and all of your websites. It stops any virus or hacker from getting into your computer and protects everything inside it.
