Design Templates
- Producing your own design for a presentation is quite hard
- It is easier to use a template
- Templates provide the design
- e.g. positioning of items, font types and font sizes and backgrounds
- You only have to create your own content
Custom Animation
- You can animate what material goes onto a slide (done by the presentation software)
- Can create your own animations that can then be added to presentations
- You can set a motion path
- That slightly moves and has a small effect
- Subtle Animation
- Spinning letters for example
- Moderate Animation
- Is quite active on the screen, with different components moving
- Exciting Animation
Video & Sound
- Can be used to 'spice' up the presentation
- There are sound and videos built into the presentation software
- Can be created by the user, or inserted into a presentation, or found on the inetrenet
Navigation
- You can add buttons to help navigate around your presentation
- They can be buttons, words and images linking to different parts of the presentation or external links
Narrator & Speaker Notes
- Narration can be added to each slide in case the speaker is not present
- Speaker notes can also be added at the bottom of slides
