  1. Equations

    • Weight = Mass x Gravitational Field Strength
    • Work done = force x distance
    • Force applied to a spring = spring constant x extension
    • Moment = force x distance
    • Pressure = force to a normal surface/ area of that surface
    • Distance Travelled = speed x time
    • Acceleration = Change in velocity / time taken
    • Resultant force = mass x acceleration
    • Kinetic Energy = 0.5 x Mass X Speed {Squared}
    • Gravitaitional Potential Energy = mass x gravitational field strenght x height
    • Power = Energy transferred / time
    • Power = work done / time
    • Efficiency = useful output energy transfer / total input energy transfer
    • Efficiency = useful power output/ total power output
    • Wave speed = frequency x wavelength
    • Charge flow = current x time
    • Potential diffrence = current x resistance
    • Power = potential difference x current
    • Power = current {SQUARED} x Resistance
    • Energy Transferred = power x time
    • Energy Transferred = charge flow x potential diffrence
    • Density = Mass / Volume
  2. Energy Stores

    • Chemical
      • Stored in Chemical bonds
    • Elastic
      • Stored in a rubber band or a spring
    • Thermal
    • Nuclear
      • Makes Radioactivity
    • Gravitational Potentail
      • The higher an object is and the more it weighs the more GpE the object will have
    • Electrostatic
    • ENERGY CANNOT BE CREATED NOR DESTROYED
  3. Atomic Structure

    • Solid
      • All particles are in a Linear pattern and particles vibrate against each other.
      • To go from a Solid to a Liquid it must be melted.
    • Liquid
      • A liquid has no pattern and all particles are free to flow
      • To go from liquid to solid it must be frozen
      • To go from liquid to gas it must be boiled and vaporised
    • Gas
      • Particles are spread thin throughout an area
      • To go from a gas to a liquid it must be condensed
  4. Energy Sources

    • Non-Renewable
      • Coal
      • Gas
      • Oil
      • Nuclear
      • Non Renewable are tried and tested methods that have proven results however they are a major contrubutor to climate change as they release alot of Green Houses Gasses. However energy companies are trying to innovate and make these methods cleaner and more efficent
    • Renewable
      • Wind
      • Solar
      • Hydro
      • Tidal
      • Non Renewable energy sources are the next big thing with many inovations making them more efficent and produce more energy, however these energy sources rely on environmental circuimstances.
  5. Forces : Contact and Non Contact

    • Contact
      • Air Resistance
      • Friction
    • Non Contact
      • Gravitational
      • Magnetic
      • Electro Magnetic
      • Electrostatic
