     • single layer of cube shaped cells lines kidney and ovaries
   • Simple Columnar
     • Single layer of elongated cells located in stomach and intestines
     • contains cilia, microvilli and goblet cells
   • Pseudostratified Columnar
     • single layer of elongated cells with nuclei at 2 or more levels
     • contains cilia and goblet cells and is in lungs
   • Stratified Squamous
     • many cell layers with top being flat
     • located in the outer layer of the skin, vagina, oral cavity
   • stratified cuboidal
     • 2-3 layers of cubed shaped cells
     • lines pancrease and salivary glands

     • Top layer of elongated cells with cube shaped cells in deeper layers
