2. According to Jonassen (1995), this type of environment has seven aspects that make learning meaningful

   • Active: Students participate in mindful processing of information
     • Constructive: Students integrate new ideas into their prior knowledge to make sense or meaning
       • Collaborative: Students work in learning communitie
         • Intentional: Students are trying to achieve cognitive goals and objectives.
           • Conversational: Students benefit from being part of knowledge-building communities.
             • Contextualized: Students encounter learning assignments that are situated in real-world tasks
               • Reflective. Students reflect on the processes completed and the decisions made during the learning activity

3. What Are the Stages of Technology Integration?

   • According to Sandholtz, Ringstaff, and Dwyer (1997), technology integration includes five stages
     • Entry, Adoption, Adaptation, Appropriation, and Invention

4. The Barriers to Technology Integration

   • The most common barriers include time, training, resources, and support.
