   • Full Virtualization
     • Virtualization technique which completely simulates the underlying hardware.
   • Para Virtualization
     • Virtualization technique in which the guest system is modified in order for virtualization to be done
   • Hardware assisted Virtualization
     • Virtualization technique in which the host computer's hardware is used to assist the software driven virtualization

2. Comparission

   • Full Virtualization
     • Less security
     • Runs in unmodified OS in highly isolated manner
     • Highly portable
   • Para Virtualization
     • Higher security
     • Does not implement high isolation of OS
     • Less portable

3. Ring Layers

   • Ring 0
     • It has the highest level privilege and the operating system kernel normally runs in ring 0
   • Ring 1
     • used illustrate the relative privilege difference between a virtualized guest and its host.
   • Ring 2
     • could be used to configured with different levels of access
   • Ring 3
     • applications running on the operating system operates in less privileged ring such as ring 3
