Introduction to programming

  1. The phases that are carried out to create a program or system are:

    • Phase 2 Analysis of the problem: It is to analyze point by point the problem or task that is presented, it is to think about the operations that are needed to solve it, the types of data that are going to be handled and the relationship with situations of the daily life.
    • Phase 3 Design: Develop the procedure (step by step) to solve the problem.
    • Phase 4 Coding: It is the translation of the algorithm or flow chart to a programming language according to the grammar rules or syntax of the same
    • Phase 5 Debugging: In this phase it is verified that the program has been coded correctly, the program is left free of errors in both syntax and logic.
    • Phase 6 Implementation of the program: The program designed and developed is installed in the system to fulfill the task entrusted, its effectiveness is recorded to confirm its efficiency at work.
    • Phase 7 Maintenance of the program: The program implemented in your work area has to be periodically reviewed with the possibility of removing or adding instructions
    • Phase 8 Documentation: It is a very important phase since it generates both the technical manuals and the user manual and help.
    • Phase 1: Definition of the problem: It is the phase in which the problem or task is clearly defined and understood.
  2. Algorithm

    • Algorithm can be defined as a set of logically ordered steps that describe the solution of a problem or to carry out a specific task. There are three types of algorithms that we will describe below:
      • Sequential: They are so called because the steps are executed or described from beginning to end without jumps or jumps.
      • Conditional: There is a need to make decisions in some of the steps due to conditions or questions that lead us to answer true or false or follow one path or another.
      • Cyclical: They are those where there are actions or steps that are repeated while or until a condition is met.
  3. Programming language

    • The programming language is the set of symbols, words and syntax rules that control the physical and logical behavior of a computer.
      • These are some of the most popular programming languages:
        • C++, Rogic, Java, Python, Switf
