algorithms

  1. supervised, semi-supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement.

  2. a procedure used for solving a problem or performing a computation.

  3. the recipe for baking a cake, the method we use to solve a long division problem, the process of doing laundry, and the functionality of a search engine

  4. Merge Sort algorithm

    • The Merge Sort algorithm is by far one of the most important algorithms that we have today. It is a comparison-base sorting algorithm that uses the divide-and-conquer approach to solve a problem that once was a O(n^2). It was invented by the mathematician John von Neumann in 1945.
  5. An algorithm is a procedure used for solving a problem or performing a computation. Algorithms act as an exact list of instructions that conduct specified actions step by step in either hardware- or software-based routines.

  6. Algorithms are widely used throughout all areas of IT

  7. instructions for solving a problem or completing a task.

  8. Algorithms can be designed for any type of problem, i.e. mathematical, logical, or any complex problems. Example: Depth-first-search, traveling salesman, sorting algorithms, etc. But, after some steps, the algorithm would result in a finite solution before ending.

  9. trigger huge financial losses, promote unfair decisions, violate laws, and even cause deaths

  10. Who creates algorithms? Algorithm engineers—also called algorithm developers—are responsible for the design and integration of algorithms. Well-designed algorithms offer real-time solutions when installed into a software or computer environment.
