1. Input Devices

   • Mouse
     • An computer mouse uses a red light to direct it.
   • Touch screen
     • It gets pressured by the finger
   • Keyboard
     • Each key on the board is electrical from a switch underneath the keys.
   • Joy stick
     • Inside the joystick there are buttons so when you move the joystick it presses the button which sends data to the CPU.
   • Microphone
     • The microphone picks up sound waves sending it to the speakers.
   • Face Camera
     • It captures light through the lenses saving as a video.
   • Web cam
     • It shows yourself when you are facetiming or skyping somewhere
   • Cctv camera
     • The simplest is a camera connected directly to a monitor by a coaxial cable with the power for the camera being provided from the monitor.
   • Remote controller
     • It has keys underneath when you touch them it clicks and it reads the finger print and it works.
   • Steering wheel
     • Uses switches or buttons when it is moved it turns and the switches and then sends data to your CPU.

2. Output Devices

   • Watch
     • Mechanical mechanism to measure the passage of ime
   • TV Screen
     • Tv screen is a window of world.
   • Headphones
     • It is the same as the speakers but it come out of the holes in the headphones.
   • Speakers
     • The music flows out of the speakers.
   • Pinter
     • It uses a laser to go back and forth builds up a pattern and makes a picture
   • Moniter
     • It uses pixels to display images on screen
   • Lights
     • When electricity flows through the filament ,the lamp gives off light and gets hot in a usual way.
   • Projecter
     • A very bright light shines through LCD screen into a lens magnified image on to a wall.
   • Light pen
     • It is a form of a sensitive wand used as a conjunction with a computer CRT display.
   • Dot matrix Printer
     • It uses a print head that goes back and forth in an up and down mode.

3. Storage Devices

   • Floppy disk drive
     • Floppy disk works a little like a hard drive. The floppy disk is magnetic.
   • Phone
     • The phone gets a electrical signal from your voice and which means you can send messages.
   • Memory stick
   • Camera
     • If you input a click it saves to a disc or the memory card.
   • USB
     • It plugs into Usb socket which acts as storage
   • Hard drive
     • Bigger drives have a series of platters stacked on a central spindle,with a small gap between them.
