1. Back Up and Recovery

   • Storing a safe copy of the data, regularly updated and away from the original.

2. Password control

   • Different levels of password security if the password is too short it comes up as low level security the longer the characters the better

3. Physical Barriers

   • Locking workstations, officials etc

4. Firewall

   • This monitors data arriving at the computer and leaving and stops anything unwanted

5. Anti-Virus Software

   • A software which protects computers from hacks or viruses etc

6. Encryption

   • The encoding of password for higher security

7. Access levels

   • The levels of access a person has on another persons profile
