1. Real time Processing

   • Main features of batch processing
     • Data documents are bundled and collected in groups
     • Bundles of data are then processed together
     • At a set time usually low peak business hours over night or when a suffcient quantity is reached
     • All data documents under go the same type of processing
     • No human intervention is required batch processing is an automated process
     • Command line language or scripts may be used
