To Kill A Mockingbird - Chapter 12-14

1. When Atticus is away on business, Calpurnia takes Jem and Scout to the black church.

2. The community there honour the children's presence because of what Atticus is doing for Tom Robinson

3. Aunt Alexandra arrives to stay with the family, believing that Jem and Scout (particularly scout) needs a mother figure.

4. There is a row when it is discovered that the children went to a black church, Aunt Alexandra forbids Scout from visiting Calpurnia's house.

5. Dill arrives in the middle of the night, having ran away from his new stepfather.
