The system development life cycle (SDLC)- MODELS
There are various types of models that can be implemented during the process of the SDLC:
The waterfall model
The iterative incremental model
The prototype model
The spiral model
The agile model
THE WATERFALL MODEL
Advantages
The stages are clearly defined
It is simple to use and easy to understand.
Disadvantages
Cannot be used for complex and large systems.
Does not allow changes in requirements in later development stages.
THE ITERATIVE INCREMENTAL MODEL
Advantages
It accommodates changing requirements
Does not require the requirements to be completely defined before starting the process
Disadvantages
THE PROTOTYPING MODEL
