What is the difference between Bower and NPM: why do you need a package.json as well as a bower file?
- The difference is that NPM (and package.json) is for server side dependencies: does the project require grunt and, if so, what dependencies does grunt itself have?
- Bower is for managing client side dependencies: jquery, angular, etc.
