•The drug Benzodiazepine
act’s on increasing
GABA activity which reduces brain arousal
having a calming effect on the body.
•The drug Beta Blocker’s
work on reducing the activity of the sympathetic
nervous
system. The effect of this is it slows
the heart rate down, having a calming effect on the
body.
