1) A material called fibreglass is used to insulate the house or the loft.

2) The handle on a frying pan is made of wood or plastic.

3) A radiator in a central heating system is made from steel.

4) The material that i would use to have in my winter boots is wool because, wool is a good conductor of heat and a good emitter.

Metals are good conductors of heat energy because they have free electrons which means that they move in random and collide with neighbouring electrons. Energy is transferred from one electron to another.
