- 1What is an input device?A: An input device is something that inputs data into a computer system.
- 2What is an output device?A: An output device is a device that takes data out of a computer system.

- 8What is a secondary storage device?A: A non-volatile device that holds data until it is overwritten or deleted.
- 9Why should you organise your files?A: So that you can find and use files quickly and easily.
- 10What does ASCII stand for?A: American Standard Code for Information Interchange.
- 11What is ASCII?ASCII is a file that changes each character (numeric, alphabetic or special) is swapped into a 7-bit binary number.
- 12How many ASCII characters are defined?A: 128
