- 1SO2/SO3FGD (dry); oxides of sulfur react with calcium carbonate (limestone) which produces calcium sulfate.
Can also produce sulfur, sulfuric acid and gypsum which can be used for building plaster manufacture - 2NOx- low temp combustion reduces amount produced
