- 1When you arrive at the start of class... (2 pts.)... sit at your desk and start the worksheet that will be there.
- 2When you are finished with it... (1 pt.)... read the board as to whether you should hand it in or hold on to it.
- 3When you arrive late... (4 pts.)1) Enter the room like a ninja!
2) We will all know you are late; you do not need to announce it.
3) You only need to explain if asked.
4) Otherwise, come right in and sit down and figure out what we are doing. - 4When you need to leave for the bathroom/locker/drink of water... (3 pts.)1) Write your name on the front boards and the time you are leaving.
2) Only one person may be out at a time, unless explicitly (directly) told otherwise.
3) If you need to leave for any reason, you must wait for the other person to return. - 5When class is over... (2pts.)1) Ever hear the saying, the bell doesn't dismiss you I dismiss you? We don't have dismissal bells except at the end of the day.
2) However, the clock does not dismiss you, I do. Please show respect for the class, your classmates, and myself by waiting for me to let you go. - 6What happens if you forget your materials?Ms. Schmidt will keep track of students who are unprepared for class.
- 7Wat materials will you always need? (5 pts.)You will always need the current book we are reading, a notebook (all notes are hadnwritten, not typed, unless explicitly allowed for some reason), a pen/pencil, an eraser, and post-it notes.
- 8When are electronic devices allowed?Usage of electronic devices are NOT allowed until Ms. Schmidt gives instructions to use them.
- 9Where should phones and laptops be?Phones and laptops should NOT be on your desks, but rater in your bags, until otherwise directed.
- 10How should your workspace look?Your workspace should always be left clean and neat for the class.
- 11What happens if your workspace isn't clean and neat?Students will not be dismissed from class if there is an issue with cleaning up a particular area of the room.
- 12What happens if a clean up problem is constant?If there is a recurring issue with a particular person, there will be specific consequences for that person.
- 13What should you do if you are absent? (3 pts.)1) Check moodle.
2) Contact Ms. Schmidt immediately upon return (or beforehand if the asbense is planned).
3) Don't wait days or even weeks before recognizing there was work missed because there is ALWAYS work missed. - 14—
