Question Answer
What is a Nucleus? It Controls the activities of the cell and contains the genetic material.
What is Cytoplasm? Most of the chemical reactions take place there.
What is a Cell Membrane? It Controls the passage of substances into and out of the cell.
What is a Mitochondria? Aerobic Respiration takes place.
What is a Ribosome? Where Proteins are synthesised.
What is a cell wall? A cell wall is made of Cellulose and it helps to strenghthen the cell.
What is a vacuole? A vacuole is filled with cell sap, and it supports the plant.
What are Chloroplasts used for? They make glucose by photosynthesis (absorbing the light).
Where is the main DNA found in a bacteria cell? The DNA is mainily found in the chromosomal DnA loop, which is usually found as one circular chromosome.
What are plasmids? A plasmid is a circular section of DNA that can replicate independently of Chromosomal DNA. Plasmids allow bacteria cells to move genes from one cell to another.
What do Prokaryotic cells don't have which Eukaryotic cells have? They don't have mitochondria or chloproplasts.
