Question Answer
Online Data Storage - How it Works How it Works : Data Storage is another type of online service where servers are provided to hold information online.
Online Data Storage - Benefits Holding the information online is helpful for sharing and recovering lost information easily. You only pay for the storage that you have used. You don’t have to provide and maintain the hardware locally. Data and files may be available anywhere in the world where there is an internet connection.
Online Data Storage - Drawbacks Cloud Storage is not completely secure. The host may not be using the most up to date version of the software causing issues with formatting and speed. The speed of retrieval of data may be slower than it would be on a local database held in-house. The network that it is being held on may be very unreliable; dropping frequently.
