Why do voluntary and involuntary muscles contain a large amount of mitochondria? | This is because these muscles require a lot of energy to keep working and it is the mitochondria that provides them the energy. |
What does your diaphragm control? | Your diaphragm controls your breathing, it is an involuntary muscle. |

Why do cardiac muscles never get tired? |
They have a very large number of mitochondria to provide a continuous supply of energy.
