Question Answer
Cell to organisms Made by Zaskia Rizal 7B
There are several levels of organisations. Mention it. Tissues, organs, organs system
What are tissues? Tissues: tissues are similar specialised cells working together to complete a specific task
What are the four type of tissues? Epithelial tissue, connective tissue, muscle tissue and nerve tissue
What are epithelial and connective tissue? - Epithelial tissue: made up of cells that form surface over other groups. - Connective tissue: supports and holds together other tissue in the body
What are muscle tissue and nerve tissue Muscle tissue is a specialised tissue that
What are biceps and triceps? Biceps are the muscle that contract to pull your rm up. Muscle cannot expand, so another set of muscles need to pull the rm back down. these are your triceps
What is organ? Organ is a structure that contains at least two different types of tissues that work together to complete task
what does tissue work in the heart? The tissue work together to pump blood around the body.
what are the largest organ? skin
what are organs system? organ system is two or more different organs that work together
there are many organs system. mention them respiratory system, skeletal system, excretory system, nervous system and reproductive system
what did respiratory and skeletal system do? - respiratory system: which get oxygen from the air into your body and gets rid of water carbon dioxide - skeletal system: which is your skeleton and muscles
what did excretory and nervous system do? - excretory system: which gets rid of wastes from the body - nervous system: which send messages from your sense organs to the brain and from the brain to other parts of the body, including the muscle
what did reproductive system do? reproductive system: which creates and transports the specialised cells necessary for reproduction. In females it provides structures and nutrients for the development and birth of a baby
what did digestive system do? digestive system: whey digest food and change the food you eat into a form that can be used by your cells
what are the function of plant tissues and organs? these tissues and organs enable the plant to carry out essential function such as photosynthesis, transport and reproduction
example of plant tissue vascular tissue
what are the two types of cell that vascular tissue composed and what do they do? - xylem carries water from roots - phloem carries glucose from the leaves to all other plant parts
what are the main organs of the plant? roots, stems and leaves
describe the process of photosynthesis.
describe root and stem in this process of photosynthesis - the root: the plant organ that takes water into the plant from the soil - the stem: the organ that holds the leaves of the plant up to the light
