Question Answer
Transformation A process carried out on a shape that changes the shape and/or orientation
Rotation A transformation in which a shape is turned on the flat surface about a point
Reflection A transformation of a shape found after drawing a mirror image of it.
Translation A transformation of a shape by moving it in a straight line
Reflectional Symmetry If one or more lines of symmetry can be drawn through an object or image, the object or image is said to have reflection symmetry
Rotational Symmetry if an object or shape can be turned about a point less than 360 degrees and still look like the original object or shape, the object is said to have rotational symmetry
