After chemical cleaning the unit is opened, and air is circulated through the unit to remove hydrogen gas. - 9AmmoniaCorrodes bronze and brass.
- 10Preparing for chemical cleaningValves closed, connections blinded off, fill sections of the boiler with demineralized water (ie. superheater), gauges and meters are isolated from the unit, vents are open to remove any acid vapours formed.
