What is the NIOSH? National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health part of the Dept of Health and Human Services Tasked with researching and evaluating workplace hazards and recommending solutions
What are Health Hazard Evaluations? NIOSH inspections in response to the request of an employer, an EE, or gov't agency.
How are OSHA inspections conducted? By a CSHO - Compliance Safety and Health Officer - who has been trained on OSHA standards and how to recognize safety and health hazards in the workplace.
