They make it easier for everyone in the business because they will know who is responsible for what and to who. - 2Appropriateness of Organisational structures:A small business would usually have a flat structure because It elevates the employees' level of responsibility in the organization. It removes excess layers of management and improves the coordination and speed of communication between employees.
- 3What is decentralization?An Organisation with a structure in which the authority to make most decisions is shared between people at different layers of the hierarchy.
- 4What is Centralization?An organisation with a structure in which all major decisions are made by one person or a few senior managers at the top of the hierarchy.
- 5What is Delegation?Passing tasks or responsibilities onto another person.
- 6what is Delayering?Removing layers of management from an organisation.
- 7what is the need for recruitment?To get new staff.
New ideas and new, fresh minds added to the business. - 8What are the methods of recruitment and selection of employees?The methods for recruitment are;
A firm can recruit externally and internally which means Internal can recruit by employing current employees. But for external they recruit by getting new people with my experience that are better suited for the job.
