- 1BLACK BOX TESTINGthis testing techniques is concerend only with the outputs and inputs of the program and not on how it runs

- 4BORDERLINE DATAyou need to be especially careful to test the data at the boundaries between different cases to ensure that they are dealt with correctly
- 5WHITE BOX TESTINGthis test the algorithm to make sure that all part of the algorithm functions as intended
- 6ALPHA TESTINGalpha testing takes place within the company prodcuing the software and employees of the compnay will test it. at this stage it not still finished as there will still be bugs in it
- 7BETA TESTINGtakes place after alpha and any of the problems in alpha will have been resolved, the software is now very similar to the final product.
- 8ACCEPTANCE TESTINGthe purpose of acceptance testing is to demonstrate to the end user that the software works correctly and all desired features have been implemented
