| The Sound | In the opening of this thriller the sound they have added is very good, i thought this because of how the closer the killer got to the girl the faster and louder the background music got. The bad part about the sound was that they kept some of the sound from the video near the middle of the opening, the sound is bad quality and where its windy it takes some of the tension away. The way when the girl saw the killer the sound stopped made a good effect, making the audience want to know what happened next. |
| The Mise En Scene | In the opening there choice of clothing is very goof for the killer as she is all in black and you cant see any part of her face at all, you can just see the outline of the jacket/coat. the props they used for the killer was a knife, this was quite unrealistic as there was people around someone would realise a girl walking round with a knife. I feel they should of used a different costume for the film as she was in mostly dark clothing, they could of made a bigger contrast between the two, although you can also see what sort of person the girl is though what she wears and could represent she has a dark side to her but is also innocent from the use of the white top. |
| The Cinematography | The camera was controlled in parts of the film but in parts the camera was shaking as the camera man was moving. There was a lot of good camera angles that they used like the one under the car. There were also some camera angles that they could of improved on like the one they stepped behind the bush, they should of been more behind the bush to make it seem like they was the stalker but the way they done it was unrealistic as the camera was still clearly in view for the girl to see. |
| The Editing | The editing in the opening was smooth and flowed nicely in most parts, although in some parts there were cuts that jumped quickly and looked like they hadn't took there time to put the different clips together and took some of the tension away. When they had edited the credits into the opening i feel that the style of writing when it appears doesn't go with the codes and conventions of a thriller and also doesn't go with the mood they have perceived there thriller to be, it seems to girly and more like writing you would see on a power point than a thriller film. |
| Would i see he film? | If they changed some of the mistakes they have made, made it more realistic and improved on some of the camera angles they done i would want to watch the film. As i watch it in parts its really good and cleaver how they done it but there are parts that make it look so unrealistic and stupid, if they changed it i would want to know what is going to happen next. |
