Question Answer
Age Certificates As stated above, we believed that our production would be aimed towards a older audience. Yet after creating our production and keeping the age certificate of a 15 in mind, we were able to create a suitable production for that audience
12 A ( ALL from the British Board of Film Classification/ BBFC) . Occasional foul language, depending on word . No discrimination . Brief sexual references . moderate violence, no injury, death or blood . No weapons that can be accessed by a 12 year old ( E.g. no knifes) . No psychological disturbing content . No drugs . No glorified alcohol (general use) .... You can see here that our production will not be classed as an 12, because our violence and use of props is too much for this classification. For example, we include death, blood and knives
15 Can contain: . Adult themes . Drugs . Use of foul language . STRONG VIOLENCE . basic sexual references . basic nudity .... You can see here that is acceptable to include violence that is strong, such as murder- which we did do. Therefore, would be meeting the specification of our audiences classification. .... However, if we did include more violence than we did, it may have been less suitable. As a consequence, parents or even the teenager may not have wanted them/themselves to view it
18 . No limitation on foul language . Hard drugs . Explicit sexual scenes . detailed sexual references . Strong, gory or sadistic violence .... Which shows that our opening wouldn't be classed as an 18, as the violence was quite basic and not actually seen
