| Just kidding | An expression used to say “I am just joking”,” I’m not speaking seriously”. Usually after making a funny comment that maybe someone will not understand. • My boyfriend is so tall that when we go out he always says his dating an ant, but his just kidding. |
| No joke / No laughing matter | When you refer to something that is “no joke” or “no laughing matter” means that the situation is serious and there is no reason to laugh about it. • I’m telling you, having a virus in my PC is no joke.
