Conjugation Changing the form of a verb to fit a tense.
Simple. Present: simplest form (to) Past: no auxiliary verb, ends in -ed. Future: will + present simple.
Progressive. Actions that are ongoing. for all three tenses include main verb ending in -ing.
Perfect. For all 3 tenses, main verb ends in -ed.
Rule of verb usage and verb shift. It's repeated over and over again to avoid verb shifts while writing.
