No mobile phones, MP3 players, TV, DVDs or computers were allowed in the house. The action is more important than the person who did it.
She said it had changed the way they ate, slept, made friends, fought, planned and played. Someone reports the words another person said before.
When "the experiment" began, the children where very unhappy about it. However, they got used to their new way of life. It connects two sentences. It contrast the information between both sentences.
What will you find most difficult about the week? Life would be more complicated, because technology makes our lives easier. It would be difficult to contact with friends.
What, if anything, will you enjoy about having no electronic devices? You will find more things you like to do.
What will you do in your free time, without a phone/ TV/MP3 player/ the Internet/DVDs/ computer/ video games? I would meet with my friends, practice more sports and read.
How will you keep in contact with friends? At school and by the land line.
